1. 12 If you become wise, you are wise to your own advantage,

12 अगर तू बुद्धिमान बने तो तेरा ही भला होगा,

2. (Proverbs 3:5, 6) By heeding that wise advice, we draw closer to our all-wise God.

(नीतिवचन 3:5, 6) इस बुद्धि-भरी सलाह को मानने से हम अपने सबसे बुद्धिमान परमेश्वर, यहोवा के करीब आएँगे।

4. Would it be wise for her to gain or lose weight or get more exercise?

क्या उसके लिए अपना वज़न कम करना या बढ़ाना सही होगा? या क्या उसे कुछ कसरत करने की ज़रूरत है?

लेकिन बुद्धिमान वही है जो सलाह कबूल करता है।

चींटी की मिसाल लीजिए, वह “सहज-वृत्ति से बुद्धिमान” होती है।

क्या तुम्हारे बीच ऐसा एक भी बुद्धिमान आदमी नहीं जो अपने भाइयों का न्याय कर सके?

31. Of course, it would be wise to take into account local customs when considering methods of witnessing.

बेशक, आपके इलाके में गवाही देने के कौन-से तरीके ज़्यादा सही रहेंगे, इसका फैसला अपने यहाँ के रिवाज़ों को ध्यान में रखकर करना अक्लमंदी होगी।

32. Offer: As the footnote in that verse indicates, we’re wise to base our beliefs on “convincing evidence.”

कहिए: यह परचा समझाता है कि हम क्या कर सकते हैं ताकि परमेश्वर हमारी प्रार्थनाएँ सुने।

निम्नलिखित सलाह पर भी विचार कीजिए, और ध्यान दीजिए कि कैसे यह बुद्धिमान राजा सुलैमान के नीतिवचनों से मेल खाती है।

सो, अगर हम समय-समय पर इसकी जाँच करते रहे कि हम अपनी ज़िंदगी को कैसे चला रहे हैं, तो यह बुद्धिमानी की बात होगी। साथ ही हमें खुद से ये सवाल पूछते रहना चाहिए कि हमारी ज़िंदगी कौन-सा मोड़ ले रही है और क्या हमें कुछ फेरबदल करने की ज़रूरत है।

59. But above all they had to be capable, God-fearing, trustworthy men, who hated unjust profit and who were wise and discreet.

लेकिन सबसे अहम बात यह है कि उन्हें गुणी, परमेश्वर का भय मानने वाला, सच्चा, अन्याय के लाभ से घृणा करने वाला होना चाहिये था और जो बुद्धिमान और समझदार थे।

60. Wise King Solomon said: “It is the foolishness of an earthling man that distorts his way.”

एक बुद्धिमान राजा, सुलैमान ने कहा: “मूढ़ता के कारण मनुष्य का मार्ग टेढ़ा होता है।”

16 क्योंकि न तो बुद्धिमान को याद रखा जाता है, न ही मूर्ख को।

“दाखमधु ठट्ठा करनेवाला और मदिरा हल्ला मचानेवाली है; जो कोई उसके कारण चूक करता है, वह बुद्धिमान नहीं।”

९ क्षेत्र में काम शुरू करने से पहले टॆरिट्री कार्ड देख लेना अक्लमंदी की बात होगी ताकि यह मालूम किया जा सके कि किन घरों के पते दिए गए हैं, जहाँ जाने के लिए मना किया गया है।

और यह भी कितनी अक्लमंदी होगी कि हम ऐसी नौकरियों, दोस्तों, रवैयों और आदतों से दूर रहें जो एक मसीही के लिए ठीक नहीं हैं। और खुद से सख्ती बरतते हुए ऐसे कामों के लिए ‘ना’ कहें जो परमेश्वर की सेवा में लगनेवाला हमारा कीमती समय बरबाद कर सकते हैं।

78. Why not open up the bag, so to speak, and apply the Bible’s wise counsel and timely advice and see how it can help you to deal successfully with life’s problems.

तो क्यों न उस थैली को खोलें, यानी बाइबल में दी गई बुद्धिमानी-भरी सलाह और हमारे ज़माने के लिए फायदेमंद बातों पर चलें और देखें कि किस तरह यह आपको ज़िंदगी की समस्याओं को सही तरह से सुलझाने में आपकी मदद कर सकती है।
